GOLD COAST — Tavern on Rush’s famed Ladies Night returns Monday to the Viagra Triangle after a two-year hiatus. The Gold Coast steakhouse at 1031 N. Rush St. closed in October 2022 after 25 years in business when the restaurant failed to extend its management contract. CHICAGO — The iconic Tavern on Rush will reopen its doors this summer in a new location after closing in 2022. The restaurant has relocated on the ground and second-floor of the Thompson Chicago Hotel, at 1015 North Rush Street. The upscale steakhouse and bar will carry on its 25-year legacy in the Gold Coast neighborhood, just a few doors south of its original location.
